Rainbows, as well as char and arctic grayling are available throughout the season, lake trout and northern pike are available in June and July. Each year five species of pacific salmon burst from the Bering Sea by the tens of millions to spawn in the lakes and rivers. The phenomenal angling is a result of the salmon run's enrichment of the lakes and streams of the "Wild Trout Area".
