Mark Hodek : Outfitter/Co-Owner

Mark Hodek, has been fishing the waters of Western Montana since 1994 when he arrived in Missoula to attend the University of Montana.  Originally from Green Bay, WI, he started fishing at a very young age and always knew there was no better way to make a living than doing what you love. He came to Montana in the search of big game and blue ribbon water and never left. He started Montana Freestone Outfitters in 2010.

“Fly fishing for me started at age 10 with my grandfather’s rusty Southbend reel loaded with buckskin line and an old Fenwick rod. A popper at the end was all it took to keep me entertained for years of fishing during the Wisconsin summers.
