Thank God. I am not much of a fan of the Month. September, that’s a whole different story. The bugs are back, the days and nights are cooling off, and soon the Elk will be bugling and the rivers will be empty.
Local Angler-Jeff Nelson took his mom on a float trip as a belated Mother’s Day gift and we had a great time. This girl knows her fishing, let’s leave it at that. Here is one of Jeff’s fish that fell for a Hecuba. We couldn’t get a trico anywhere near the trout because of the Whitey feeding frenzy on the spinner fall.
