Here is Kira with her first fish from the great sandbar in the south…..A catfish. We were hoping for a Ladyfish (so we could see some jumps), but it is hard to be picky when you aren’t even two yet. It was a great time and we caught all kinds of fish together.

The Bitterroot is still up for a day or two so everyone hit the turkey opener. Jada Hunsucker and her dad Brent decided to chase the wiley toms and scored big time !! Nice shootin’ Jada !! Back to the river in a day or two. Lots of Mayflies (Amelitus) starting to show !!

Chase and Rod Kerley hammered ‘em with seasoned guide Nick Stipech on Tuesday ending their 3 day romp on the Bitterroot. Both Chase and his dad caught a fish over 20″ and numerous others on the lower river, all on dries, just before we got a bump in the water from the high 70 temps! [...]
