There were more bugs on the water yesterday, in the mid-river, than we have seen so far this year. Skwalas and BWOs had them looking up. The Alberta boys hung in there through the weather last week and had a strong finish to their annual trip.

Nasty wind and some pelting hail made for an exciting day on the water today. Fishing was ok given the weather. Stonefly nymphs, worms ,….and a few on the foam Skwala.

There are a few folks braving the wind and snow that are finding a few big fish willing to eat the dry fly. Mid-river seems to have the most active fish, or fishermen at least. Will a little warm weather things should pop.
